Business Plan Competition :
What is the Business Plan Competition?
• AYB* & KEY** are offering college students the chance to deliver new feasible ideas for project that can be implemented in “ABU QARN” district.
What will you gain?
• Certified “Business” course.
• Business experience and skills.
• Job shadowing opportunity in P&G
• The winning team will manage its life time project in cooperation with AYB, sharing the net profit (50%50).

Competition Stages and phases:
Stage One: Registration (21st of March till 24th of March)
Participants will apply for the competition through our booth; the registration will last for one week.
Stage Two: Orientation Session (25th of March)
All the participants will be divided into groups of 3-5 students with a coordinator from AYB, & the participants will get to know more about the competition phases, & we’ll introduce some facts about Abu Qarn district.
Stage Three: First Filtration (31st of March)
Each group will present a paper explaining the idea of their project to ensure their commitment and that the project is applicable inside Abu Qarn district. & we’ll choose the first 15 teams to continue in the competition.
Stage Four: Business Sessions (14th of April till 24th of April)
As having only the technicality is not enough nowadays. Business is involved in everything so it's important for everyone to be aware of it; AYB is offering the students to learn all about business by attending these sessions held by professional and experienced trainers.
Stage Five: Projects Presentations
Groups will present their projects at the bank to the managerial team. Based on the final project report and the presentations, teams get evaluated to determine who the winner of the competition is.
*Alashanek Ya Balady is one of the biggest student activities in Egypt mainly concerned with the development of Abu Qarn district one of most unprivileged districts in Egypt.
